First4Numbers is now a proud supplier of the 14th IAAF World Championships 2013, which was held in Moscow, Russia in August.
Over five thousand numbers were shipped to the World Championships, which played host to over two hundred participating countries, and nearly two thousand athletes.
Each number supplied to the athletes was printed on First4Numbers’ exclusive material Firstron, an extremely enduring material which reduces glare from stadium, and other artificial lighting.
The event, which began on Saturday the 10th of August, also played host to some of the biggest names in world athletics, including triple Olympic gold medallist Usain Bolt, and British long jump gold medallist Greg Rutherford.
Each event also made use of Moscow’s Luzhniki Stadium, which has a capacity of 78,000. The International Association of Athletics Federations then confirmed that 396,548 spectators had attended the event, which was held over a period of eight days.
Apart from London 2012, and the Sainsbury’s Anniversary Games, this was First 4 Numbers largest event in terms of spectators and viewing ratings, with an estimated 5 Million people, from 200 territories tuning in.
